Pocock Rowing Center’s High Performance Team is the Northwest’s premier training center for elite level athletes.  In its 12 year history, Pocock has placed over 30 athletes on the US National Team, including 8 Olympians. [Alumni]
Seattle and Pocock offer an idyllic training environment.  Access to the open waters of Lake Washington to the east and Lake Union to the southeast provide athletes with miles and miles of rowable water year-round. [Photos]  Pocock Rowing Center provides excellent facilities, and experienced coaches provide a scientifically-based training program and high quality technical coaching. PRC is a leader in the use of cutting edge technology - systematically applying technology utilized internationally by the world’s best coaches and athletes. Running a program of this caliber takes the financial and volunteer support of the Northwest rowing community.  The George Pocock Rowing Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides oversight and governance of the program, and a committed and generous group of donors and volunteers.


The 2008-09 High Performance Team includes two former US National Team members, a 2008 National Champion, and two U23 National Team members.  The team will compete in a variety of local, national, and international events. [Calendar]
